NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Momentum continues for country-rocker Adam Rutledge as he releases his first full-length album, Don’t Stop, today across all music platforms. American Songwriter exclusively premiered a first listen to the “career-establishing single that cements him not only as a potent songwriter but a stirringly compelling performer as well (Rey Roldan)” and chatted with the Virginia native about catching the attention of hit singer-songwriter and fellow Virginian Phil Vassar. Rutledge has opened several shows for Vassar, Old Dominion, Brothers Osborne, LOCASH, Eli Young Band, Kip Moore, Lauren Alaina and Chris Janson.
Country Sway debuted the “Unwind” lyric video, remarking, “Rutledge delivers a unique track that eases the listener’s mind to a state of relief. Throughout the song, Adam’s vocals showcase the pure talent and the songwriting tugs on the listener’s heartstrings (Trevor Perkins),” while Music Update Central revealed the cover art and track listing for the album. Don’t Stop was produced by Rutledge and longtime Vassar collaborator, Jeff Smith, from their respective home studios in Virginia and Nashville.
Rutledge will celebrate the release of Don’t Stop with a concert at the Salem Civic Center’s Drive-In on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. ET in Salem, Va. For tickets and more information, click HERE.
